| This research looks at remembrances of young-adults. Students in large introduction to sociology classes were asked to write down two messages from their mother and two messages from their fathers as well as basic demographic information. The content of these message was analyzed through the use of a series of categories developed from prior literature. The main concepts coded for are Instrumental and Expressive; Collectivist and Individualistic; and Male and Female ways. | |
